Hsing I (Xingyi) Spear

Hsing-I Chiang (Spear)-This simple yet effective and explosive spear form, demonstrates how Hsing-I's penetrating attacks and effective retreats are so effective. Ji Long Feng's love of Spear and Hsing-I tactics come together nicely in this form. Presented on this tape are Hsing-I's spear basics which are based on the Five Elements.

Demonstrated with the spear are Two Metals (Splitting), Water (Drilling), Wood (Bursting), Fire (Pounding), and Earth (Crossing).

After the basics are shown, they are connected or linked and combined with other variations of the Five Phases and the form is demonstrated from two angles.
